I enjoy continuing education courses and sharing the new technology and advancements in dentistry with our patients. I'm excited at the opportunity to serve "Dr. Purohit." (who Truly loves what she does) and the patients, who are like family to me. I've had the honor to serve some of our families for three generations.
Every day I work I am blessed by Beautiful Smiles. I enjoy serving the Lord, my family, and friends, singing, dancing, travel, roller coasters, sunrises, sunsets, and Ben & Jerry's and Star Bucks ice cream.

I am the mother of four boys, five if you count my husband. One of my sons is a Marine, another attends Penn State, and the other two attend school in the Northeastern School District. We love animals and our family also includes three Rottweilers and four cats. I enjoy music, dancing, football, entertaining with pig roasts, and swimming parties.
I love the summer!

I was born and raised in York, as was my husband. I got my education in Dental Hygiene at the University of Pittsburgh, and have been a practicing dental hygienist for over 40 years. When my husband and I married after college, we moved to the South, where we raised our 2 sons. 30 years later, we returned to the York area. Despite missing the weather in the South (especially in Winter!), we have been blessed in other ways to be back in our hometown.
One of those blessings, for me, is to have gotten a position in this dental practice. We all work as a team, and the staff members and doctor all care about each other and our patients. It is always my primary goal to give each patient in my chair the care and advice that I would want for myself and my family members. I don’t just “clean teeth”; a large part of what I do is to try to educate patients on the how’s and why’s of good oral health, and the important connection it has to overall health. I find it especially rewarding when a patient “gets it” and commits to putting in the time and effort necessary to take responsibility for and control of their own oral health, and they get to see for themselves the difference that it truly makes!
These days, I enjoy working part-time hours, and my time away from the office is spent being active in my church, hanging out with family and friends, going on long walks, and being a dog-mom.
